Visa requirements for North Korean citizens
Citizens of North Korea are normally not allowed to exit the country. Exit visas are generally granted only to government officials, athletes and other special delegations. Those who obtain an exit visa may travel to 36 countries and territories. Generally travel is visa-free, or the traveller may apply for an entry visa upon arrival in the foreign country.
